Cream Cheese Drops (w/ chocolate morsel)
Makes 8 dozen small cookies.
½ lb. sweet butter
1 pkg (3 oz) cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cup flour
½ cup finely chopped pecans
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate morsels (approx.)
Directions:
Allow butter and cream cheese to soften at room temp. Cream butter, cream cheese,
and sugar. Add vanilla; mix well. Gradually add the flour, beating in thoroughly. Mix
in the pecans.
Drop from a teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Decorate tops with
chocolate morsels, one for each cookie.
Bake in 375* oven for about 10 minutes. Should be very lightly browned.
